Stuffed mushrooms are easy to prepare and pack a ton of flavor. Filled with a mixture of cream cheese, garlic, and herbs, they are baked to perfection, making them an irresistible appetizer for any occasion.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and remove the stems. Set the mushroom caps aside, and finely chop the stems.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped mushroom stems and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes until softened. In a bowl, mix the cooked stems, garlic, cream cheese, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
Spoon the mixture into the mushroom caps, pressing it in firmly.
Arrange the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, until the tops are golden and the filling is hot.
Let cool slightly and serve warm. Garnish with extra parsley if desired.
